The Argentina Facility

Heil Trailer Internacional S.A. (HTISA), a subsidiary of Heil Trailer International, started its operations in Argentina in 1998.  HTISA has become the leader in the field of manufacturing and marketing of aluminum trailers in South America. The plant, located in the city of Cañuelas at 60 Km. from Buenos Aires, has been built on six hectares of property and the building occupies an area of 5,000 square meters.

The factory facilities have the most modern equipment with the latest technological advances required by the demands of the markets served. This, added to the permanent updating of its manufacturing procedures and continuous personnel training, has allowed HTISA to manufacture high quality products that are price competitive not only in the Argentine market but in other areas as well. HTISA has supplied units to clients of different countries in South America such as Brazil, Chile, Bolivia and Peru. More recently the company has also supplied units for different countries in Central America and it has initiated the penetration of the African market by supplying equipment to Nigeria, Mozambique and Tunisia.

The plant is ISO 9000 certified and its products are manufactured in accordance with international American and European standards.

One of the key factors in the growth and expansion of HTISA is flexibility. There is a permanent process of incorporating improvements in quality control, manufacturing procedures and continuous personnel’s training that has allowed HTISA to be innovative, adding new designs that provide alternative solutions to the problems faced by the transportation industry. The policy adopted by the company since the initiation of its activities has turned it into a source that is continuously consulted by haulers, oil companies and other industries.
